Seven things you can do during stage-4 lock-down to help you excel in business

Day 1 of stage-4 is here.  Sending you positive vibes.

Here are seven things you can do during stage-4 lock-down to help you continue to excel in business

Pre-Approvals

Consider putting Pre-Approvals or Approvals-In-Principle (AIPs) on hold – else half the approval term (six weeks) will be wasted.

Keep clients motivated to resume with their AIP approximately 4 weeks from now. The exception is those who have inspected and who are committed to bidding at the online auction.

Review your clients

Download your trail report on Excel and sort by settled date. Anything settled more than 2 years ago is likely to be stale and non-competitive for the client.

Get on the phone, talk to your clients, offer them a review and discuss their future.

If you are not talking to your clients, chances are someone else is and/or they’re doing their research to possibly refinance.

Fall in love with writing content

Now more than ever, blog away.

Write to your client base and blast your blog posts through all the socials.

Show the market that you’re the expert.

Clients – and prospective clients – want to hear from you now more than ever.

Call your raving fans

Especially call your business partners.

Talk shop. Discuss how you can work together in preparation for when the handcuffs are lifted.

Spring is likely to bounce back strong – in some areas – when the real estate market returns.

Get creative and position yourself (now) for where you think opportunities will be.

Cast a wider net

Regional Victoria is in stage 3 and not stage 4 – perhaps it’s time to start reaching out and cast a wider net.

Find someone you know who lives in regional Victoria and create a wave.

Put your thinking cap on and be creative.  Everyone knows someone.

Mindset is everything

Stay positive and feed your mind with the right juice.

We’ll come out of this coma – as sure as the sun will rise in the morning and set at night.

Believe and stay focused.

If you’re feeling flat and negative on some days, that is OK – you are only human.

During such days, stay off the phone and emails, as negativity will come through.

On such days, read, research, talk to someone you trust that won’t judge you.

Get into a routine

Last but not least, get into a routine.

Wake up at the same time Monday to Friday.

Do an hour of exercise.  For example, a fast walk gets the blood circulating and juices flowing in your brain.

Listen to motivational podcasts during your walk. Healthy body, healthy mind.

We’re here to support each other.

Let’s get through this together.
